Kurt Niebuhr, with Edmunds, wrote...The Honda CR-V is Hondas compact crossover, and it is been a stalwart in the segment since it was introduced all the way back in 1997. We've regularly recommended the CR-V because it is spacious, great to drive, easy to use, and frugal enough to make sure you don't feel too much pain at the pump. For 2023, the CR-V gets a from-the-ground-up overhaul. A lot is new, from the bodywork to the interior, but it keeps plenty of what makes the CR-V great.

The wheelbase has been stretched 1.6 inches, giving the new CR-V even more rear legroom than before. Cargo capacity is similar to before. Notably, the hybrid version of the CR-V is no longer at a deficit compared to the regular model; they both now offer a substantial maximum of 39.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats or 76.5 cubic feet with the rear seats lowered.
LX Starts off the CR-V lineup with a Turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, 17-inch wheels, Push-button start, LED headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. The CR-V also comes standard with ,Forward collision warning with automatic braking, Lane keeping assistance and Adaptive cruise control.
EX adds more features such as a Sunroof, Heated side mirrors, Dual-zone climate control, Heated front seats, a Power-adjustable driver's seat and a Six-speaker sound system.
EX-L is the best equipped CR-V with the turbo engine. ON top of EXs features it hasFront and rear parking sensors, a Power liftgate, Leather upholstery, Power-adjustable front passenger seat, Driver's seat memory settings, the 9-inch touchscreen, Wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wireless smartphone charging pad, an Eight-speaker sound system and Low-speed automatic braking
